Are you passionate about working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder? Do you have a background in psychology, mental health, or child development? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you at RCS Learning Center.

As a Behavior Therapist - Intensive Support Specialist, you will work with students who require high levels of support and guidance. You will be trained in restraint and hold techniques, learned via SOLVE, and will work with a team to de-escalate severe behaviors. Our students are between 6-22 years old and require candidates who can be comfortable with self-injurious behaviors, aggression, bolting, and inappropriate social behaviors.

We are looking for individuals who are highly organized, committed to quality, and want to make a difference in a child's life. Our students require support in areas such as communication, social skills, activities of daily living, vocational skills, adaptive physical education, and self-preservation.

As a member of our team, you will receive comprehensive training, oversight and support from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and ongoing training provided on a weekly basis. You will also be eligible for benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, long term disability insurance, and the ability to save towards retirement.

Qualifications include enjoying working with children ages 6-22 years old, being comfortable working with students with severe behaviors, and having an interest in Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, human services, special education, social work, childcare or a related field. Preferably, you will have or be working towards a Bachelor degree, and RBT certification is preferred.
