Responsible for the imaging, deployment, and technical assistance of laptops, desktops, and peripherals for both in-house and remote clients. Configure and maintain desktop applications while ensuring adherence to IT policies. Manage data backup and restoration, along with hardware support.

*Local Candidates from the South Georgia area are preferred.*

Required Certifications: A+ Certification or Network+ Certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site desktop support for users at designated locations.
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user workstation and peripheral issues effectively, both remotely and in person.
  • Ensure that user applications and equipment function as intended and comply with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Install and support network devices that provide essential business services.
  • Conduct end-user data backup and recovery with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Process surplus equipment in accordance with established protocols, ensuring proper sanitization of electronic devices, including disk wiping to DoD standards.
  • Document and track problem tickets, escalating to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendor support to troubleshoot technical issues related to desktop hardware and software.
  • Assist with special projects, including the setup, breakdown, and relocation of computer equipment and peripherals.
