Job Summary:

Gable Search Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our New Homes Division in the Cookeville/Crossville, TN area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our new-home builder/general contractor operations, including staff management, customer development, customer service, community outreach, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Oversee the production of custom homes, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Foster strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Knowledge & Construction Management Experience: Possess a deep understanding of residential construction and sales, with the ability to consult with potential homeowners to determine their dream and budget.
  • Administration & Financial (P&L) Management: Manage the financial aspects of the branch, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Staff Management: Hire and manage sales and project management staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Community Outreach & Marketing: Establish professional relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and community leaders to promote the company's visibility and growth.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in new-home/custom-home building operations management.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, budgets, and customer relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction, sales, and marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
