Ace Hardware is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Leader to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of retail professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including sales floor management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of retail professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Customer Service: Promote a customer-centric culture, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, reduce shrinkage, and maximize inventory accuracy.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement in-store marketing initiatives, including promotions, events, and seasonal merchandising.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a retail setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills; ability to delegate and be self-directed; strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
