Job Overview

TRACE Inc., a reputable Military Contractor, is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join their team. With a strong presence on 19 different Military Bases, the company specializes in hiring and training individuals with disabilities, including Veterans and Civilians.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and documenting the quality of Stocker and Custodian performance at Fairchild Commissary. This is a full-time position with a 5-day workweek, with a shift from 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM. Note that these times and days may be subject to change based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect nightly stocking and custodian performance to ensure quality meets standards.
  • Document and communicate inspection results.
  • Identify problem areas and suggest corrective actions.
  • Interface with Project Manager, Regional Director, and VP to ensure quality deficiencies are corrected.
  • Monitor and document external activities affecting employee quality and production standards.
  • Manage the product Best by Date system (BEEP).
  • Enter site data into employee attendance tracking software, Time Keeper, and Time-Trex.
Requirements
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong regard for quality assurance.
  • Experience in Grocery and/or Retail.
  • Excellent documenting and reporting skills.
  • Good team player with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent Time Management skills.
