Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, machined parts, and final products by conducting thorough inspections and tests. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and evaluate raw materials, machined components, and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications and established inspection criteria.
  • Document inspection results accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Utilize precision measuring devices, including micrometers, calipers, and other general inspection equipment.
  • Perform first article inspections in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
  • Consult with Quality Assurance supervisor/management personnel for disposition of questionable materials.
  • Ensure quarantined or rejected materials are properly identified, segregated, and disposed of.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all quality requirements.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of inspection experience, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to properly utilize precision measuring devices.
  • Natural or corrected vision to at least 20/25 and ability to differentiate between colors.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and ISO 9001 principles.
  • Intermediate computer navigation skills and proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word.
