Position Overview:

In this role, you will take charge of developing and overseeing cash flow forecasting (CFF) processes and reporting to guarantee precise and timely financial projections.

Collaboration with various Finance departments will be essential to collect financial data, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:


• Establish and uphold the Cash Flow Forecast reporting process for presentation across the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, including the Chief Treasury Officer.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Cash Flow Forecast reporting within the Finance Collaboratory, including Investments, Actuarial, and Technology, focusing on process enhancements and problem-solving.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for improving CFF accuracy and processes through a structured approach. Responsible for cash management and reporting change management, socialization, and system troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain forecasting and liquidity monitoring models as directed by the Director, including reviewing forecast inputs, query development, statistical reporting, and cash threshold reports.
• Create necessary data exports for external scorecards for Investments, Enterprise Risk Management, and Finance.
• Serve as a subject matter authority and business lead on CFF, driving essential changes and upgrades while assisting other Treasury cash team members with issues and temporary solutions.
• Review forecast reporting, including forecast versus actual reports, and validate inputs and conclusions with the team, guiding future forecast adjustments.
• Develop and maintain daily reporting capabilities to monitor and assess that the CFF meets all defined success criteria. Create dashboards for daily cash and liquidity status using relevant systems.
• Monitor intra-day forecast to actual changes and investigate significant exceptions or trends.
• Coordinate educational outreach to manage business cash requirements and trends.
• Collaborate to enhance the maintenance of data and entries in the Treasury Workstation through data uploads to prevent duplicate or missing entries.

Stay updated on treasury practices and innovations that may influence the organization or lead to improved workflows, enhanced operations, or customer experiences.

Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Director of Treasury. This position is an individual contributor role.

Typical Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, banking, business administration, or a related field.

License/Certification:
Preferred Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation or progress towards completion. Industry designations such as CPCU or CLU are also advantageous. Formal training in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is preferred.

Experience:
Generally, eight to ten years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management, and/or banking relations. Experience in finance, accounting, information technology, banking, and/or project management is also beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, economics, and financial analysis. In-depth knowledge of the banking sector, cash management techniques, and banking policies and procedures. Proven track record of continuous improvement. Detail-oriented, analytical, capable of working independently, with a focus on operational improvement and control. Strong skills in Excel and PowerBI. Ability to solve problems and conduct advanced data analysis. Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing high volumes of work while efficiently juggling multiple tasks. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies, and experiences, may take precedence.
