Position Summary:

The role involves assisting members and prospective members with their Credit Union needs, both directly and through collaboration with other Centric Service Representatives. The position requires expertise in more complex Credit Union services, including IRAs, certificates of deposit, electronic funds transfers, and MyCentric Online Banking. Responsibilities include explaining services, setting up new accounts, assisting with loan applications, and resolving member inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Account Management: Facilitate the opening and closing of accounts and loan applications. Review credit reports and provide tailored solutions while collaborating with loan officers.
  2. Transaction Processing: Handle member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Maintain accurate member records and balance daily transactions.
  3. Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between members and various departments, ensuring effective communication.
  4. ATM and Vault Management: Assist in balancing ATM, pods, and vault as required.
  5. Data Maintenance: Ensure accurate maintenance of member account information across Credit Union systems.
  6. Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Performance Metrics:
  1. Deliver exceptional service by engaging with members at every interaction.
  2. Accurately open all types of accounts and ensure completeness of related documentation.
  3. Timely posting of new member transactions.
  4. Resolve member inquiries efficiently and courteously.
  5. Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services.
  6. Achieve sales targets for new products as set by management.
  7. Enhance knowledge and skills related to member services.
  8. Ensure compliance with all operational regulations.
  9. Maintain a reliable attendance record.
  10. Uphold a professional work environment and appearance.
Qualifications:

Experience: 1 to 3 years in a similar role.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong personal contact skills for conflict resolution and relationship building, requiring discretion and diplomacy.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with regulations related to Credit Union deposit products.

Physical Requirements: Proficient in using technology for online banking. Excellent communication skills are essential. The role may require standing or sitting for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere.
