Quality Assurance Validation Specialist

SRC is in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Validation Specialist. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring product validation and qualification processes, enhancing operations within intricate electronic manufacturing environments, and supporting the organization in fulfilling client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and/or assess manufacturing qualification strategies and validation plans in alignment with quality standards and industry regulations.
• Evaluate change requests for their potential effects on validated processes, systems, and equipment.
• Provide validation testing support to guarantee appropriate testing levels, accuracy of test limits, and definition of critical criteria.
• Conduct independent risk assessments on validation methodologies to evaluate their impact on product quality.
• Collaborate with various manufacturing and engineering teams to identify validation requirements, analyze root causes of qualification failures, and resolve complex issues.
• Suggest process enhancements and validation improvements that uncover opportunities, mitigate risks, and lower costs associated with poor quality.
• Partner with quality engineers to ensure compliance with validation processes, methods, and procedures.
• Communicate the implications of validation on business objectives to relevant stakeholders and management.
• Lead and complete validation projects within established timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of fundamental testing and system engineering principles.
• Proven experience in authoring, reviewing, executing, and approving validation processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of IQ, OQ, PQ protocols and FAIs in a manufacturing context.
• Proficient in continuous improvement and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Cpk, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in daily operations.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and IPC standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with complex electronics manufacturing and RF testing tools is advantageous.
• Ability to review designs and code for intricate testing and measurement systems (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, VBA) is a plus.
