Job Location

Our world headquarters is located in Chicago, Illinois, occupying over 140,000 square feet of modern facilities. From this location, we provide welding services, design, manufacturing, hardware and software development, testing, and research and development.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of our EBAM and Additive Manufacturing systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide testing support for all Sciaky machines
  • Repair, test, and calibrate machines in the field at customer locations
  • Use technical manuals and knowledge of test and diagnostic equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair PC boards
  • Program test fixtures
  • Investigate new instrumentation and test operating practices
  • Represent Sciaky in front of customers and users

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a similar organization or industry
  • Proficiency with data entry and MS Office
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, and hardware/software including applications and programming
