  • Provides assistance to patients and their families with a variety of inquiries, ensuring timely support for all callers.
  • Processes patient requests and directs them to the relevant clinical personnel promptly.
  • Inputs patient data into the electronic health records (EHR) system accurately.
  • Identifies and escalates intricate issues to the Call Center Team Lead or Manager for further assistance.
  • Keeps current with physician and provider schedules, clinic updates, and business office protocols.
  • Undertakes additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in medical office administration.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Strong analytical skills to address and resolve complex issues.
  • Capability to work independently while effectively managing time and workload.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures, as well as knowledge of health insurance practices and/or medical billing processes is preferred.
  • Experience with medical scheduling and billing systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, along with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic records systems is preferred, with demonstrated data entry skills and a typing speed of at least 45 wpm.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in medical office administration.
