Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance our freight reporting, analytics, and control mechanisms.
- Generate reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to monitor and improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash metrics.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to facilitate and report on cost and cash productivity within the distribution network, ensuring key performance metrics are met.
- Develop analytical tools and capabilities to elucidate the distribution cost structure, including conducting variance analysis and assessing productivity outcomes.
- Clearly communicate the factors influencing variance, such as volume, mix, inflation, and productivity.
- Analyze cost center expenditures against budget, identifying trends and significant cost drivers.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency within the distribution network.
- Execute month-end closing activities, including journal entries and the integration of results into reporting tools.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Finance-related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning, Operational Finance, or Corporate Finance is preferred, including internships and rotational programs.
- Previous experience in Supply Chain or Logistics is advantageous.
