Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Analyst to join our team at nVent. As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving supply chain efficiency and mutual profitability of customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers to drive supply chain efficiency and mutual profitability.
  • Build and analyze seasonal profiling processes to forecast future orders and optimize inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement standard reporting templates to provide insights into inventory levels and supply chain performance.
  • Research and resolve out-of-stock items, and present proposals to address root causes.
  • Identify gaps in inventory and coordinate with Operations to optimize production scheduling.
  • Provide order status updates to distribution partners and track lead times on back-ordered items.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand and complete promotional planning needs.
  • Develop and document common processes for continuous improvement and performance reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Operations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management skills to develop plans, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships and establish credibility with business partners.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and thrive in a constantly evolving environment.
