Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at MW Industries. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer backlogs, managing purchase orders and releases, and ensuring timely communication with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain highly accurate customer backlog and manage purchase orders and releases
  • Accurately transfer data from purchase orders and releases to M/F and shop tickets
  • Maintain constant contact with purchasing to ensure raw requirements for customer schedules are met
  • Work with outside sourcing to secure completion dates for various plating, cleaning, grinding, heat-treating, welding, packaging, and rubber molding operations
  • Receive and process customer requests for quotes and respond accurately and timely
  • Issue manufacturing shop tickets and verify customer orders reflect correct price and timing
  • Track shop orders and respond to customer inquiries regarding order status
  • Establish, maintain, update, and provide accurate part history in each M/F
  • Coordinate shipping activities and maintain constant contact with shipping on a daily basis
  • Coordinate with Quality to ensure customer requests for PPAPs, ISIRs, or special certifications and labeling are required
  • Coordinate with accounting to process customer requests for credit and verify merit and accuracy
  • Handle irate customer calls when parts are late or non-conforming
Requirements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to think analytically and negotiate effectively
  • Knowledge of product and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
