About Us:

At BEST ONE TIRE & SERVICE, we're seeking an experienced Commercial Tire Service Technician to join our team at our Seymour location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch tire services to our customers.

What You'll Do:

As a Commercial Tire Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Tire Installation and Repair: Install, remove, rotate, and balance commercial tires in our shop and at fleet locations.
  • Tire Inspection and Evaluation: Evaluate tire conditions to determine if repair or replacement is necessary.
  • Fleet Tire Management: Provide fleet inspections at customer locations to make tire recommendations and perform tire fleet services to manage tire specs.
  • Emergency Road Service: Repair or replace blown tires on the road.
  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare paperwork detailing services performed and submit to Sales, while effectively communicating fleet needs with Service and Sales teams.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

  • Operate a heavy-duty tire service truck.
  • Maintain assigned service truck for preventive maintenance and appearance.
  • Raise and lower vehicles safely using hydraulic or floor jacks.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Positive attitude and ability to relate well with other employees and customers.
