Our mission is to empower individuals to flourish and reach their fullest potential. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Direct Support Professionals.
Position Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Role Overview:
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to adults with IDD in a group home setting. Your duties will include ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents during the afternoon and evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing, assisting, and supporting residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, grooming, and medication administration.
- Monitoring and addressing any medical or behavioral needs in accordance with established protocols.
- Creating a positive and empowering environment within the group home by encouraging social interaction, recreational activities, and skill-building.
- Documenting observations, incidents, and interventions accurately in resident records.
- Collaborating with team members, including case managers, healthcare professionals, and families, to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment through light housekeeping duties and regular safety checks.

If you are passionate about helping others, this position provides valuable experience in fields such as Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Pre-med, or human services. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with individuals with IDD or in a similar caregiving capacity is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Ability to maintain composure, patience, and empathy in challenging situations.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures, with a willingness to learn and adhere to healthcare protocols.
- Dependability, responsibility, and the ability to work independently.
Available Shifts:
Sunday 8am-8pm, Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-9pm
Tuesday-Friday 2:30pm-9pm, Saturday 8am-8pm
