Warehouse Support Specialist

As a Warehouse Support Specialist at SouthernCarlson, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in managing inventory control, receiving and fulfilling orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control within the warehouse by taking product counts as needed to compare and reconcile system inventory levels against physical count of stock.
- Provide excellent customer service by receiving and fulfilling orders in a timely manner so our customers can have the products they need, both in person (pick-up) and via delivery.
- Ensure efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to a variety of internal and external customers.
- Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment, including delivery loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, and staging of inventory.
- Load and unload materials to and from the designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicle.
- Safely operate various types of forklifts at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in the industrial supply field.
- Ability to lift at least 50 to 100 Lbs. on regular and occasional basis.
- Already Forklift Certified or willing to get trained and certified.
- Strong attention to detail, organized, and highly efficient.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with others effectively.
- Self-driven team player with a can-do attitude and high energy.
