Key Responsibilities:
As a Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist, your primary duties will include:
  • Operating under supervision during the initial training phase.
  • Delivering patient care by recognizing conditions and ensuring the successful execution of procedures.
  • Evaluating patient needs, providing education on procedures, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Accurately documenting and acquiring patients' clinical histories.
  • Positioning patients and equipment to achieve high-quality imaging results.
  • Monitoring patient conditions throughout procedures and assisting physicians as needed.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in aseptic techniques and hemostasis.
  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Adhering to established policies, legal regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Effectively utilizing computer systems and contributing to policy development.
  • Engaging in professional development and ongoing education.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited institution in a relevant field.
  • Required certifications and licensure: BLS, ACLS, and unit-specific certifications.
Licensure/Certification requirements:
  • CVT — Must possess RCIS Certification.
  • RRT — Registered by NBRC, Licensed in the State of Florida, renewed bi-annually.
  • CRT — Certified by NBRC, Licensed in the State of Florida, renewed bi-annually.
  • Rad Tech — Valid Florida license and ARRT certification, renewed annually.
