About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our team at Puma. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing our company's credit portfolio, ensuring timely release of orders, and resolving customer disputes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts based on experience and skill, including collection calls, account adjustments, customer deductions, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations, and processing customer refunds.
  • Credit Holds Review: Review daily credit holds through review of customer history, industry credit reports, cash flow projections, and financials to ensure timely release of orders.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Run and analyze weekly aging, deduction, and top account past due reports to identify root causes of issues that delay payments and cause deductions.
  • Customer Dispute Resolution: Successfully resolve customer disputes and negotiate payment plans with limited intervention.
  • Credit Limit Management: Set and maintain customer credit limits through financial analysis and credit research, including past payment performance, credit reports, industry analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Cash Collections: Perform ongoing cash collections.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Correspond with assigned sales reps and customer accounts on a regular basis to proactively resolve credit issues.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the Puma brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes, and practices.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of Jesta, SAP, and High Radius.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of how to read and analyze financial statements.
  • Understanding of billing, AR, and credit and collections procedures.
What We Offer

The hiring range for this position is $66,560 - $72,015 + bonus + benefits. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
