Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality foods, while ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other food-service associates.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
  • Monitor inventory and supplies, and make recommendations for ordering and purchasing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with training and development of food-service associates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or other management personnel.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in high-volume food service, preferably in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Food safety certification and knowledge of sanitation procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
