Job Title: IT Change Management Specialist

The Virtual Bench is seeking an IT Change Management Specialist to support the Change Management Team with Change Management, Configuration Management, Problem Management, and IT Disaster Recovery. This role offers a primarily remote work schedule and is direct hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide global support to end users.
  • Understand Change Mgmt. policies, procedures, standards, processes, and work instructions.
  • Assist users with IT ticketing system questions and issues related to Change Mgmt., Config Mgmt., & Problem Mgmt.
  • Identify and report issues and enhancement requests for IT ticketing system modules that Change Mgmt. Team is responsible for.
  • Lead small to medium-sized projects.
  • Create & maintain documentation and training materials, as well as conduct training sessions and prepare for them.
  • Lead and perform system testing and coordinate UAT for IT ticketing system upgrades.
  • Participate in annual IT Disaster Recovery drills (review functional validation DR docs and complete functional validation steps for the IT ticketing system modules that Change Mgmt. Team is responsible for).

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working in Information Technology field.
  • 3+ years of experience working in IT Change Management.
  • Solid understanding/experience of Change Management.
  • Understanding of Configuration Management and Problem Management.
  • Understanding of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and ITSM (IT Service Management) concepts.
  • 2+ years of IT ticketing system experience.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
