Job Summary

As a General Manager at Rib Crib BBQ, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly employees in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management: Provide direction and support to hourly employees, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to excel in their roles.
  2. Operational Excellence: Control and monitor operational standards to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
  3. Employee Relations and Scheduling: Recruit, select, maintain, evaluate, and promote employees based on individual performance and business needs.
  4. Financial Management: Monitor food cost, labor costs, and inventory management to ensure profitability.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
  6. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements

Education and Experience: A minimum of two years of previous management experience in a full-service restaurant environment.

Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to set expectations and maintain concise oral and written communication among team members.

Certifications and Licenses: Food Service Manager Certificate and completion of M.I.T. Program.

Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to perform most work from a standing position for extended periods, with frequent walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
