Job Description

About the Role:

The Restaurant General Manager is a key leadership position at Rib Crib BBQ, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants. As a member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience, while also driving sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide direction and support to hourly employees, ensuring that they are adequately trained and equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor and control operational standards to ensure that our restaurants are running efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruitment and Talent Development: Recruit, select, maintain, evaluate, and promote employees to ensure that our restaurants have the right talent to deliver exceptional results.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and control cash flow, inventory, labor costs, and cost of sales to ensure that our restaurants are profitable and financially stable.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that our restaurants comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, while also identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum two years of previous restaurant management experience in a full-service establishment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledgeable in both back-of-house and front-of-house restaurant operations, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalency, with a Food Service Manager Certificate and Liquor License.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform most work from a standing position for a total of ten to eleven hours each day, with frequent walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, cutting, carrying, kneeling, or stooping.
