Accounting Manager Job Description

At Regent Services, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and transparency of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
AP Management:
  • Accounts Payable: Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment management, and vendor communication.
  • AP Team Management: Build and manage a high-performing AP team to support the growth of our business.
Internal Controls and Audit:
  • Internal Audit: Develop and implement internal audit procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • External Audit: Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth and timely audit process.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of combined experience in public accounting and industry experience.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and industry-specific accounting regulations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
  • CPA Certification: Certified Public Accountant certification.
  • ERP Experience: Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation and optimization.
  • Industry Experience: Experience managing financials of a vehicle production company or OEM.
