Our services extend to private, corporate, and community gatherings, supported by a comprehensive in-house Production Department that offers technical equipment such as concert audio, lighting, truss, and rigging. We also boast the largest fleet of Stageline Mobile Stages on the East Coast. Our Creative Department excels in festival production, event planning, brand activations, and fine art installations.
We are looking for dedicated Event Operations Assistants to join our team during the summer festival season and beyond. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, general labor, event production, site coordination, art handling, audio support, stage assistance, lighting support, event assistance, and theater production. If you thrive in a dynamic work environment where each day presents new challenges, this position may be ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Interest or understanding of event production and artistic processes.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Willingness to ask questions for clarification.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to established systems and policies.
- Professional demeanor and maturity in client interactions.
- Reliable transportation to various event locations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years at the time of hire.
- Capability to lift, push, and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in theater, events, concerts, or similar production settings.
- Familiarity with best practices for packing technical equipment into vehicles.
- Knowledge of various event production tools and equipment.
- Technical skills in carpentry, lighting, sound, rigging, or audiovisual systems.
- Experience driving larger vehicles such as vans or box trucks is a plus.
This is an hourly, non-exempt role that is scheduled as needed. The compensation for this position starts at $15 per hour, with opportunities for higher rates based on relevant experience, advanced technical skills, and certifications.
