Position Summary: We are in search of a driven team member to propel our ongoing success and growth within the Political & Advocacy sector.

Our impressive trajectory in Politics and Advocacy over the past decade has been fueled by our ability to deliver unique, proprietary audience segments related to voters/platforms/policy positions, alongside expertly managed programmatic digital advertising campaigns for candidates and causes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Effectively present Resonate's data and media solutions to Political and Advocacy agency buying teams.
  • Territory Management: Take full ownership of your territory and sales cycles—from lead generation to successful deal closure.
  • Prospecting: Actively seek out opportunities within your territory, generating a high volume of meetings with qualified prospects to showcase Resonate's suite of services and build a robust revenue pipeline to surpass targets.
  • Utilize tools such as Salesloft, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to source, qualify, and manage the prospecting process.
  • Provide weekly forecasts and strategic territory plans to sales management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key agency stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the internal Sales Strategy team on RFP responses.
  • Present Resonate media proposals and proactively introduce new strategic ideas that align with client performance metrics and desired outcomes.
  • Partner with internal customer success teams to deliver relevant client insights.
  • Engage in client entertainment and relationship-building activities.

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in selling advertising technology/digital media to political and public affairs organizations of various sizes.
  • A solid understanding of the digital programmatic ecosystem, the political buying cycle, and the dynamics between vendors, agencies, and advertisers.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, and adaptable; capable of thriving in ambiguous situations.
  • Client-focused and curious, with a passion for understanding and addressing client challenges.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of exceeding expectations.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • An enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
