Swim Team Coach

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Coach to join our team at Life Time. As an Aquatics Coach, you will be responsible for leading our Swim Team members in improving their swimming skills in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools. You will work closely with the Head Swim Team Coach to develop and implement effective training programs, register new participants, and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement daily practices under the direction of the Head Swim Team Coach

  • Provide coaching and guidance to competitive swimmers to help them master technique

  • Promote Life Time products, services, and programs to our members

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of swim coaching experience
  • Member of the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA)
  • Member of USA Swimming
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift more than 20 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
