Job Summary

This role provides direct clinical patient care, assuming responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role will supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and is accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and effective resource management related to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis.
  • Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated.
  • Support the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
  • Ensure competency of clinical staff.
  • Manage resources effectively related to patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a nurse in the state of practice or policy.
  • CPR certification.
