Job Summary

Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Surgical Telemetry and Observation. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
  • Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and delivered
  • Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management related to patient care
  • Collaborate with the nurse manager and director to address critical vacancy situations and support market nursing initiatives
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nursing required
  • One year of telemetry experience preferred
  • CCRN preferred
  • A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR required
  • American Heart Association ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
