Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Surgical Telemetry and Observation. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and delivered
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management related to patient care
- Collaborate with the nurse manager and director to address critical vacancy situations and support market nursing initiatives
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- One year of telemetry experience preferred
- CCRN preferred
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
- American Heart Association BLS CPR required
- American Heart Association ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
