Job Title: Corporate Travel Manager

Duration: 11-Month W2 Contract

Location: Fully Remote

Hours: 9-5 EST preferred; flexibility required due to global project nature

Pay: $34-$42/hour depending on experience

Job Description:

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Collaborate with innovative professionals worldwide to develop a best-in-class travel program for healthcare professionals and customers.
  • Assess current travel program and implement changes aligning with Global Medical and Clinical Affairs strategic goals and priorities.
  • Participate in developing and drafting HCP travel rules (policy) with Global Travel & Expense, Sourcing, Legal, and Health Care Compliance.
  • Identify and apply global practices, customizing for specific geographical considerations.
  • Support third-party travel provider account management and relationship negotiation.
  • Negotiate travel contracts with air, rail, hotel, and ground transportation service requirements.
  • Lead implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Monitor service levels, compliance with policy, and vendor alignment with terms of agreement.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting criteria to monitor HCP travel and industry trends.
  • Drive quality and customer satisfaction for the business.
  • Manage internal and external customer satisfaction, addressing disputes and problems.
  • Implement measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Monitor internal compliance with HCP travel policy.
  • Develop and maintain an internal HCP Travel Management website.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and activities in event management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to contribute to outcomes.
  • Add value by identifying continuous process improvement opportunities.

Your Skills and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree (completed and verified prior to start)
  • 3 years of experience managing a corporate travel program in the Life Sciences industry (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device)

Additional Requirements:

  • Effective communication in English (oral and written) with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
  • Strong understanding of business travel industry and corporate travel operations.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications and travel management technology.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing a corporate travel program
  • Experience with managing travel across multiple geographies and cultures
  • Fluent bilingual oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of and experience with Health Care Compliance practices pertaining to interactions with healthcare professionals
  • Familiarity with Cvent event management technology
