Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary support staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, providing exceptional client service, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care under the supervision and direction of a DVM, including laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including client and case information.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about patient care and treatment options.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, taking payments, and checking in clients.
- Answer phones in a courteous and informative manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- State Department of Regulation Licensing required.
- 1+ Years of Veterinary industry experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, move, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Competitive hourly rate: $24-27/hr.
- $2000 Sign-on Bonus.
- 4-10's schedule with rotating Saturday (9am-1pm).
