Job Summary:

This Radiology Technologist position will work in a dynamic environment, performing radiographic imaging procedures with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent patient communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Position patients and perform imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Analyze results and identify issues with image quality, taking corrective action as needed.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review patient history and physician orders, educating patients on procedures and equipment as necessary.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice, monitoring patient condition and reporting changes as appropriate.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment, troubleshooting and resolving issues as necessary.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) Radiography certification required within 12 months of hire.
• CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior radiology experience.
