About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Grant Program Manager to join our Finance team at Clark County. In this key role, you will develop, plan, and oversee major programmatic areas with significant financial and programmatic impact upon other governmental agencies and/or private organizations.

This is a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in grant funding administration, budgetary analysis, and program management to drive strategic growth and development within our organization. The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Business or Public Administration and two years of full-time professional experience in performing administrative, budgetary, operational, grant funding preparation, and administration or similar analyses and studies.

Responsibilities

As a Grant Program Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing grant programs, policies, and procedures
  2. Coordinating budget development for assigned areas of responsibility
  3. Administering expenditures for assigned areas of responsibility
  4. Maintaining accurate records and files related to grant programs
  5. Preparing grant applications and related documents
  6. Monitoring and evaluating grant program performance
  7. Developing and implementing quality assurance and quality management processes
  8. Coordinating with community, non-profit, and government partners to achieve grant program goals
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Master's Degree in Business or Public Administration
  • Two years of full-time professional experience in performing administrative, budgetary, operational, grant funding preparation, and administration or similar analyses and studies
  • Experience in grant funding administration, budgetary analysis, and program management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in automated accounting systems such as SAP and PeopleSoft
