Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Technician to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing environmental control systems in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of environmental control systems
  • Repair and program commercial control systems
  • Interpret control drawings, plans, and specifications to mount, assemble, test, and program systems
  • Work in a diverse commercial and industrial environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial controls and BAS systems
  • Previous background in programming, commissioning, and startup of Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Tridium/Niagara based controls systems
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable with hand-held devices
  • A valid driver's license with no major or frequent traffic violations
  • EPA Certification preferred

Working Conditions

This position requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders. Employees must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle, wear helmets, safety goggles, and safety boots, and stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods.

This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, and other environmental conditions based on location.
