The Kenan Advantage Group is a leading provider of tank truck transportation and logistics services across North America. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing national accounts and implementing new purchasing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement new National Accounts or changes to existing accounts, ensuring seamless integration into our procurement process.
  2. Review and approve all national account invoices, resolving outstanding Accounts Payable issues in a timely manner.
  3. Manage national accounts, including office supplies and furniture, corporate lodging hotel programs, and other vendor relationships.
  4. Support cross-functional teams within the Procurement Department, providing expert guidance and assistance as needed.
  5. Conduct thorough vendor vetting and setup, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful account management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of $17.50-$19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
