Overview

Protect-US Private Security is seeking qualified Armed Security Officers for a cannabis distribution facility.

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Armed Security Officer to enhance our team. The role of an armed security officer involves safeguarding specific individuals and properties while promptly reporting significant incidents to management. It is essential to maintain safety equipment in optimal condition when necessary.

To excel as an Armed Security Officer, candidates must demonstrate sound judgment in the use of their firearm. The ideal candidates will actively pursue further self-defense and firearms training beyond the basic requirements.

Schedule: Part-time Mon-Tues & Fri-Sat 11pm-7:30am

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding designated individuals and premises from harassment, physical harm, vandalism, and other forms of unauthorized interference.
  • Ensuring that your firearm is properly maintained and secured at all times.
  • Employing your weapon only in situations of extreme threat, after all non-violent options have been exhausted.
  • Participating in refresher training for firearms usage, as required.
  • Documenting and submitting incident reports following noteworthy occurrences.
  • Maintaining a log of all visitors to the facility, if applicable.
  • Verifying that security equipment and protocols are effective and remain in excellent working order.
  • Implementing additional security measures as necessary.
  • Maintaining a clean and professional uniform while on duty.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Current valid California Guard Card.
  • Current valid California Exposed Firearm Permit.
  • Previous experience as an armed security officer.
  • Relevant firearms license and training.
  • Clear criminal background.
  • Strong dedication to the safety and well-being of others.
  • Exceptional decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods.
