Job Overview:

The Armed Security Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring a secure environment and delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include monitoring and reporting activities at designated sites, safeguarding client property and personnel, and conducting regular patrols to identify any irregularities.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report activities and incidents at assigned locations, ensuring the safety and security of client assets and individuals.
  • Conduct periodic patrols to identify irregularities and inspect security systems and emergency equipment.
  • Maintain order and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises.
  • Control access to facilities through proper admittance procedures.
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, security breaches, and unauthorized individuals.
  • Preserve evidence and manage incident scenes during emergencies or investigations.
  • Respond to various incidents, including medical emergencies, fire threats, and hazardous situations.
  • Complete logs and reports as required.

Qualifications:

Mandatory for Armed Candidates:
Guard Card, Firearm Permit, Baton Permit, and Pepper Spray.

  • Must meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.

Additional Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Reliable communication and transportation means.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background checks.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures or the ability to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions in various formats.
  • Team-oriented with courteous demeanor.
  • Maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Adaptability to changes in the work environment.
  • Capable of writing routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
  • Strong organizational skills.
