Job Description

Join the leading global security firm

We present appealing compensation options such as DailyPay and Weekly Pay.

Compensation: $23.75 per hour plus benefits.

Training and uniforms are provided at no cost.

Applicants must be armed prior to application.

A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are mandatory.

Availability for on-call shifts at various locations is required.

This position is flexible and operates in the downtown area.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of paid armed or unarmed security experience within the last three (3) years

As a condition of employment, candidates will undergo a background check in compliance with all applicable laws.

Allied Universal will evaluate qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with relevant laws.

Drug screening may be required as permitted by law.

As a Flex Armed Security Officer, you will protect and serve clients across various sectors including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security protocols, site-specific policies, and emergency response actions when necessary.
  • Address incidents and critical situations with a calm, solution-oriented approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and its perimeter. Work environments may vary based on client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old for armed positions
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience

Compliance with background investigations and drug screenings is required.

Participation in industry-specific security and safety training programs is expected.

Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.

Driving Positions:

Must hold a valid Driver's License with a minimum of one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and adequate insurance as per company policy.

Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory.

Flexibility to work across multiple client sites is essential, covering special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills are vital.

Intermediate computer skills are necessary to operate advanced technology at client-specific locations.

Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in various environmental conditions such as cold, rain, or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as needed
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods
