Job Title: Security Control Center Operator

Job Summary:

The Security Control Center Operator will serve as the primary point of contact for the 24/7/365 Northwestern Mutual Security Control Center. This individual will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing data from intelligence platforms, identifying potential security threats, and taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the department's enterprise access control/video surveillance system, dispatching alarms, and coordinating responses to emergency incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze data from intelligence platforms to identify potential security threats
  • Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and ensure the safety and security of Northwestern Mutual employees, guests, and assets
  • Monitor the department's enterprise access control/video surveillance system and dispatch alarms as necessary
  • Coordinate responses to emergency incidents, including dispatching security partners and emergency services
  • Use global risk and intelligence platforms to monitor, identify, and mitigate business risk to the company, its employees, and assets
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct regular tests of platforms, review test results, and identify gaps and report results to security leadership
  • Compile daily reports and incident reports as needed
  • Serve as the primary resource during crisis events and incident escalation
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a corporate or professional environment, including performance under demanding conditions
  • Excellent customer service skills in a professional environment
  • Experience using video management and access control systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Able to work weekends and some holidays as part of the work schedule
  • Current certification in First Aid/CPR/AED and bloodborne pathogen training preferred
