Healthcare Assistant Manager

This Healthcare Assistant Manager position at Yale New Haven Health offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a key member of the clinical team, you will provide essential support to patients and nurses, ensuring seamless care delivery.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Assist patients with selected tasks, including vital sign collection and technical procedures, under the guidance of a Clinical Nurse.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including 12-lead ECGs and continuous Lead II monitoring.
- Maintain open communication with patients, families, and staff, addressing concerns and promoting a positive patient experience.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant direct patient care experience or completion of the Patient Care Associate Competency Based Training and Practicum.
- High school diploma or GED, and CNA or equivalent education (e.g., Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Student Nurse).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and work as a unified team member.
- CPR certification required.
