This group is charged with the effective and prudent oversight of the corporation's capital, as well as that of its subsidiaries, on a global scale.
This position falls within the Capital Monitoring and Change (CMC) team, which supports the ongoing operations of Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) Controllers. The CMC team is tasked with ensuring the accuracy of processes and data, innovating efficiencies in reporting, and overseeing the monitoring and consolidation of RWA and capital ratios necessary for capital management metrics and regulatory reporting across various legal entities.
The Finance Solutions Senior Analyst is a strategic professional with a critical role influenced by business needs and regulatory requirements. We seek a Vice President who will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing high-profile initiatives within the Capital Controllers framework, which are integral to Citi's transformation journey and regulatory compliance efforts. This includes managing projects related to Consent Orders, Management Remediation Actions, and various regulatory programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead regulatory deliverables and remediation initiatives aimed at automating processes across the Capital Continuum, with a specific focus on RWA.
- Oversee all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for regulatory projects, from requirement gathering to solution design and implementation.
- Develop and execute tactical and strategic roadmaps for initiatives that drive improvements and innovations.
- Collaborate with partners to design and implement new solutions, enhancing capabilities for data aggregation, reporting, and visualization.
- Manage Credit Risk remediation projects, addressing both data and process-related issues.
- Conduct thorough research on business challenges and develop solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Support RWA calculations in accordance with Basel regulations for wholesale banking exposures.
- Design and articulate the target operating models for critical Capital Planning processes.
- Enhance processes, controls, and technology for Capital Planning to minimize manual tasks and strengthen the control environment.
- Utilize business proof of concepts to identify deficiencies and propose enhancements, presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Assist in investment and budget estimations for new solutions, supporting the creation of business cases for approval.
- Monitor the execution of regulatory, audit, and remediation projects, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for senior management and audit purposes.
- Continuously enhance expertise in capital planning to serve as a trusted advisor.
- Participate in the assessment of evolving business, regulatory, and market information needs.
