Job Title: Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Element Staffing Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory analysis, maintaining high standards of quality control, and collaborating with manufacturing supervisors and operators to provide analytical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products.
  • Release all raw materials and finished products after verifying quality and accuracy.
  • Generate labels for raw materials and finished products.
  • Operate Gas Chromatograph(s), High Pressure Liquid Chromatograph(s), Autotitrator, Karl Fischer, viscometers, furnaces, drying ovens, and other common analytical instruments.
  • Work independently after approximately 2-4 weeks of training with a Manager and/or trained Chemist.
  • Maintain daily calibrations and instrument maintenance as needed.
  • Troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation issues.
  • Record/report sample information and analytical results accurately in written, electronic, and oral formats.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth analytical support.
  • Achieve adherence to company policy, standards, and practices.
  • Main laboratory according to 5S standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Physical Science is preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in manufacturing quality control lab.
  • Strong mathematical background.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
