Job Title: Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Buffalo Center, a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Buffalo, New York.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our rehabilitation unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring a team of nurses to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and resident satisfaction
  • Monitoring and evaluating resident care, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid State RN License
  • Have at least 3 years of Long Term Care experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Possess strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
