Job Title: Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Buffalo Center, a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Buffalo, New York.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our rehabilitation unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. This includes:

  • Supervising and mentoring a team of nurses to provide exceptional patient care
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Monitoring resident records and quality of care
  • Representing the unit's interests with upper-level management
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid State RN License
  • Have at least 3 years of Long Term Care experience
  • Have 2 years of Charge Nurse experience
  • possess strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
