Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Unit Manager at Buffalo Center, a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Buffalo, New York.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring less experienced nurses
  • Establishing and implementing employee policies and procedures
  • Maintaining standards of care for the unit
  • Reviewing resident records and quality of care
  • Representing the unit's interests with upper-level management
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid State RN License
  • Have at least 3 years of long-term care experience
  • Have 2 years of charge nurse experience
  • Have strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
