About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Staff to join our team at Telecare Stephanie House in Garden Grove, CA. As a Direct Care Staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and case management for members served with developmental disabilities and other co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to members served in a homelike setting, promoting independence and community integration.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, ensuring the unique needs and goals of each member are met.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide 24-hour non-medical care, responding to emergencies and crises as needed.
  • Document progress, incidents, and concerns, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • High School Graduation or G.E.D.
  • Six months of prior experience providing direct care and special services to persons with developmental disabilities.
  • Complete the required training for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 6 months of initial employment and obtain RBT certification within twelve months of initial employment or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional and maintain credential through employment.
  • Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
