Position Overview

SteerBridge seeks a skilled Data Analyst/Data Engineer to work on cutting-edge projects that have a significant impact on national security and aerospace advancements. Responsibilities
  • Lead data transfer operations, develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
  • Manage SQL tables, create indexes, and query databases for analysis.
  • Leverage Azure Databricks and Data Factory to manage data pipelines and optimize workflows.
  • Support data scientists by ensuring they have clean, organized, and timely data for analysis.
  • Automate processes and develop workflows to streamline data collection and management.
  • Enhance and optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes to ensure efficient and accurate data handling within our WASPO system.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL with at least two (2) years of professional experience, and proficiency in Python.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus.
  • Experience configuring or monitoring data pipelines in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Oracle, Azure, Google).
  • Experience with Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), is a plus.
  • Experience implementing data validation and cleansing processes is a plus.
  • AWS Professional or Specialty Certification (or the ability to obtain one) is a plus.
  • Previously supported DoD or VA missions, is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI technologies like neural networks and anomaly detection, is a plus.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Elasticsearch, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data quality assurance and have experience addressing data quality issues, is a plus.
