Support the Special Events & Promotions Manager in managing the execution of internal events and promotional activities, which encompass giveaways, merchandise distribution, and player engagement events.

The Events & Promotions Associate also provides assistance to the entertainment team as ushers when necessary and collaborates with the Motorcoach department.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee events and promotions by distributing gifts, loyalty rewards, and promotional items.
Assist in event preparation by organizing the venue, arranging merchandise and decorations, and completing customer documentation.
Occasional handling of cash transactions, adhering to established cash management protocols.
Provide assistance to guests with inquiries, services, and information in a polite and respectful manner, ensuring exceptional guest service.
Inform customers about upcoming promotions and events while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of property details, including memorabilia.
Prepare and set up decorations for special occasions, celebrations, and seasonal events as requested by other departments.

Additional Responsibilities:

Embody the Mission Statement – We create authentic experiences that resonate.

Usher - Validate tickets as guests enter and exit the venue, promptly notifying the Box Office Manager of any discrepancies.

Ensure guests do not bring outside beverages into the venue.
Assist guests in finding their designated seats and sections within the venue.
Motorcoach - Organize group package incentives, including communication, bus payments, coupons, club cards, and group tracking.
Reconcile group activities and payments due to the coordinator upon departure.
Foster excellent guest relations.
Promote Motorcoach packages to tour operators and bus companies through telemarketing, trade show leads, and tourism referrals.
Create player accounts based on group manifests.
Welcome arriving buses, explaining player card benefits and casino promotions, and assisting players with inquiries.
Represent Bally's Corporation positively with guests, colleagues, managers, and vendors.
Adhere to the core values of Bally's Corporation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with casino management systems and Microsoft applications.
A gaming work permit is necessary for this role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Ability to project a professional and positive demeanor.
High energy levels are required.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact sensitively and professionally with others.
Clear and effective communication skills with all staff and guests.
Ability to comprehend and convey written instructions, regulations, and memos.
Strong telephone communication skills are required.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods, at least 4 hours.
Punctuality and adaptability to a fast-paced environment are crucial.

Training Requirements:
All employees must complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire and annually thereafter. The following courses are required for this position:
