Convention Setup Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Convention Setup Specialist to join our team at Boyd Gaming. As a Convention Setup Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet events in a timely and efficient manner. This will involve communicating with the sales team to ensure that all events are set correctly, storing linen, putting on and taking off chair covers, and paying attention to details of the floor plan.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down banquet events
  • Communicate with sales team to ensure events are set correctly
  • Store linen and put on and take off chair covers
  • Paying attention to details of floor plan
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting pounds

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift pounds
